Elaris is a memorial program maker and remembrance app. This policy explains what information the app and backend may collect, how it is used, and how users can request deletion.

Information We Collect

• Account identifiers from Apple, Google, or Firebase Authentication, such as user ID, email address, display name, and authentication provider.
• Memorial program content entered in the app, including names, dates, relationships, service details, obituary text, family text, order of service, timeline items, and selected templates.
• Memory album content, including uploaded images, album titles, relationships, and written memories.
• Generated or uploaded files such as memory photos and PDF exports.
• Device and push notification tokens when notification features are enabled.
• Technical logs such as API request paths, status codes, timestamps, owner keys, app sync events, and error messages for debugging and reliability.

How We Use Information

• To create, save, sync, display, and delete memorial programs and memory albums.
• To connect app data with the user's Apple or Google sign-in account.
• To provide PDF exports, uploads, reminders, and account deletion workflows.
• To diagnose errors, verify backend connectivity, prevent data loss, and improve reliability.

Storage and Sync

Guest mode data may remain local to the device unless synced. When a user signs in with Apple or Google, the app attempts to sync supported memorial data to the backend using a backend owner key tied to the authenticated account.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by service providers required to operate the app, such as hosting, Firebase Authentication, Apple or Google sign-in, push notifications, and app store purchase systems.

Account Deletion

Users can request deletion from inside the app. Deletion removes backend memorial programs, uploaded files, device tokens, and app account records linked to the account owner key. This does not delete the user's Apple or Google account.

Security

We use authentication tokens, signed deletion links, server-side validation, and restricted owner keys to protect account data. No system can guarantee perfect security, so users should avoid uploading content they do not have permission to store or share.

Children

Elaris is intended for use by adults and families preparing memorial materials. It is not directed to children under 13.
