Terms and Conditions
Last updated: May 23, 2026
These Terms govern use of Elaris, including the mobile app, backend API, website, templates, memory albums, exports, and related services.
Use of Elaris
Users may use Elaris to create memorial programs, save memories, upload images, export PDFs, and manage remembrance-related content. Users are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and permissions for all content they add.
User Content
- Users retain responsibility for photos, names, stories, dates, and other memorial information they enter.
- Users must have the right to upload, store, print, or share any images and text they provide.
- Users must not upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, or misleading content.
Accounts and Sync
Apple, Google, Firebase, and device-based identifiers may be used to connect app data to a user account. Guest mode may not preserve data across devices. Signing in allows supported records to sync to the backend when network and server configuration are available.
Purchases
Premium features may be offered through Apple App Store or other platform purchase systems. Purchases, refunds, declines, and payment verification are handled by the relevant app store or payment provider. Restoring purchases may be required when changing devices.
Exports and Printing
Elaris provides tools for creating PDF exports and printable keepsakes. Users are responsible for reviewing all details before printing or sharing final materials.
Availability
We aim to keep the app and backend available, but service may be interrupted by maintenance, hosting issues, app store systems, network conditions, or third-party services. Elaris is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
Account Deletion
Users may request deletion of backend account data from inside the app. Deletion is permanent for backend records associated with the account owner key and may include memorial programs, uploaded files, device tokens, and account rows.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elaris and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, missed events, printing mistakes, or service interruptions.
Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated as the app changes. Continued use after updates means the user accepts the revised Terms.
Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact the app owner through the support channel listed in the app store listing or website associated with Elaris.
